Do Not Disturb
I use the “Do Not Disturb” feature occasionally during my workday. Recently, I activated “Do Not Disturb” For 1 hour in my Big Sur installation. Part way through this process I decided I did not need Do Not Disturb any longer, but I could not figure out how to turn it off. Deactivating Do Not Disturb in Big Sur is not the same as previous versions of macOS. It is simple to do, here is how that works.

Windows 10’s “Focus Assist” feature is a “Do Not Disturb” mode that hides notifications. Windows automatically activates it when you’re playing PC games or mirroring your display—and you can have Windows automatically activate it on a schedule, too. This feature was added in the April 2018 Update. You can turn Do Not Disturb off by pressing on either the button or the button on your Ooma Telo Base Station or Phone Genie and holding it for two seconds. You can also turn Do Not Disturb off by pressing again the DND button on an Ooma HD2 Handset or Ooma HD3 Handset or by dialing.79 on a regular handset.

Then click on “For 1 Hour” and Do Not Disturb is deactivated on your Mac.
Like I said, when I first used Do Not Disturb on my Mac I could not figure out how to turn it off manually until I did a little research online.
Conclusion
I really like how Control Center makes my most used macOS features available. Of course, Do Not Disturb is one of those features.
